How the referral program works
You get a unique referral link tied to your VenueBill account. When someone signs up using your link and subscribes to Pro, you earn a credit applied to your account. There's no limit on referrals - the more people you refer, the more you earn.
Finding your referral link
- 1
Log in to your VenueBill account.
- 2
Go to Settings in the left sidebar.
- 3
Click the "Referral" tab.
- 4
Copy your unique referral link.
- 5
Share it with other freelancers, agencies, or service businesses.
Sharing your link
Your referral link works anywhere - email, social media, a blog post, or a personal recommendation. When someone clicks your link, it's tracked automatically even if they sign up later.
Send it directly to freelancers or business owners who might benefit.
Share it in communities you're part of (Slack groups, forums, social media).
Add it to your website or email signature if you mention tools you use.
Tracking your referrals
The Referral page in Settings shows:
How many people have signed up using your link.
Which referrals have converted to paid subscribers.
Your earned credits and how they've been applied.
Referral credits are applied to your VenueBill subscription automatically. Check the Referral page in Settings for current reward amounts.
Who to refer
VenueBill is built for freelancers, consultants, contractors, photographers, event businesses, agencies, and any other service business that invoices clients. The best referrals are people who are currently managing invoices manually, using a spreadsheet, or frustrated with their current invoicing tool.
