Subscription and Billing Disclosures

Last updated: August 22, 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, how VenueBill subscriptions are billed, renewed, and cancelled. It is part of our Terms of Service. VenueBill is operated by BrightPrompt Consulting LLC ("we," "our," or "us").

Our plans

PlanPriceBilling
Pro$39 / monthBilled monthly, in advance
Premium$59 / monthBilled monthly, in advance

Prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes, which we may add where required. Plan features are described on our pricing page.

How billing works

  • 14-day trial. A card is required at secure checkout. No subscription charge is collected when the trial begins. The plan selected at checkout starts billing automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
  • Billed in advance. When you start a paid plan, we charge your payment method for the first month. Each month after that, we charge the same payment method on your renewal date.
  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor, Stripe, to store your payment method and charge it on each renewal date.
  • Payment method. We use Stripe to process payments securely. We do not store your full card number. Keep your payment method current to avoid interruption.

Renewal reminders

We will send billing-related messages such as receipts and, where required, renewal or price-change notices to the email on your account. Please keep your email address up to date.

Changing plans

  • Upgrades take effect right away, and we prorate or adjust the charge for the remainder of the current billing period as applicable.
  • Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period, so you keep your current features until then.

Price changes

We may change plan prices. If your plan's price goes up, we will notify you in advance by email, and the new price applies on your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree to a new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Cancelling

  • You can cancel anytime from your account settings, or by emailing us at support@venuebill.com.
  • Cancellation stops future renewals. There are no cancellation fees.
  • Your plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for. After that, your subscription ends and you will not be charged again.

Refunds

Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial months, unused time, or features you did not use. If you think you were charged in error, email us at support@venuebill.com and we will review it in good faith.

Failed or late payments

If a renewal charge fails, we may retry it over a short period and email you to update your payment method. If payment still does not go through, we may suspend or downgrade your access until it is resolved. Your data is retained during a suspension as described in our Privacy Policy.

Deposits and payments you collect from your clients

These disclosures cover your VenueBill subscription only. The deposits and payments you collect from couples and clients through VenueBill are separate. You set those amounts, schedules, and refund terms, and any refund owed to a client is handled by you. For online card payments, the checkout-disclosed processing amount is charged to the payer on top of the invoice principal and generally is not returned when the principal is refunded, except where law requires otherwise. See our Terms of Service for details.
