VenueBill is a booking and billing platform for wedding and event venues.

Banquet hall management software is a booking system that tracks one banquet from the first inquiry through the signed contract, the deposit, the banquet event order (BEO), and the final balance, all in one record. Published starting prices for the four tools below run from $39 to $375 a month per plan, depending on how many rooms or venues each plan covers. The right choice is the tool that handles the stage where your bookings stall, which for most halls is the gap between the deposit and the final payment.

We build VenueBill, so treat us as an interested party. The prices and feature claims below come from each vendor's own pricing or packages page, fetched on 3 October 2026. Where a vendor does not publish a number, we say so.

What does a banquet hall tool have to track at each stage?

A banquet hall tool has to track five stages: the inquiry, the date hold, the deposit, the banquet event order, and the final balance. Each stage creates a record the next one depends on, so a gap at any point leaves the kitchen, the bar, or the bookkeeper working from different information.

StageWhat the software should recordWhere bookings usually stall
InquiryDate, headcount, room, budget, and lead sourceReplies that sit in an inbox for days
Date holdTentative and confirmed holds on one shared calendarThe same room held on two different calendars
DepositAmount, due date, and whether it is refundableA check that gets deposited but never logged
Banquet event orderMenu, timing, room layout, and headcount, with versionsThe kitchen cooks from an old headcount
Final balanceA payment schedule tied to the event date, plus remindersThe final invoice goes out a week after the event

How much does each banquet hall tool cost per plan?

Each vendor charges by a different unit. VenueBill and Perfect Venue use a flat rate per account or per location, BanquetFlow prices by the number of venues, and Tripleseat charges per venue. The table lists the published figures and what each page says the plan includes.

TripleseatPackagesFrom $375 per venue a monthVenuePackages are not priced one by one on its page

Perfect Venue's prices apply on annual billing. Its monthly rates are $239 for Professional and $339 for Premium, per location. Tripleseat's packages page says the platform starts at $375 per venue a month, but it does not show a separate price for each package.

What does a year of software cost a hall that books ten banquets?

Divide the annual plan price by the number of banquets you run, and the monthly rate looks much smaller. At ten banquets a year, the software costs $46.80 per banquet on VenueBill's $39 plan, $238.80 per banquet on Perfect Venue's Professional plan on annual billing, and $178.80 per banquet on BanquetFlow's Essential plan. These are plan prices only, so card processing is extra.

Card processing matters more than most halls expect. Take an $8,000 banquet paid in full by card. Perfect Venue's Professional fee of 0.5% comes to $40, Premium's 0.3% comes to $24, and Enterprise's 0% comes to nothing. Premium also charges $5 per ACH payment. That is cheaper than its 0.3% card fee on any single payment above about $1,667, so a hall that collects most balances by bank transfer should run that math before picking a card-heavy plan.

Which banquet hall tool covers the stage where a booking stalls?

Tripleseat describes its platform around proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, and payments, which puts it closest to a full banquet workflow. If you are already on Tripleseat and weighing a move, our Tripleseat alternative guide walks through what changes when you switch.

VenueBill is built around the deposit-to-balance cycle: date holds, deposits, payment schedules anchored to the event date, e-sign contracts, and a couple portal where the client pays. Decide whether you need BEO generation before you buy, because that is the part of the workflow that decides what the kitchen works from.

BanquetFlow makes a pricing claim of its own. Its page says: "No. Unlike platforms that charge hidden per-transaction convenience fees or booking taxes, BanquetFlow operates purely on a flat-rate monthly model." That is a claim to test, not a number to take on trust, so run one card payment through any trial before you rely on it.

Does a banquet hall need its BEO and deposit in one system?

Yes, if one person writes both. A BEO changes when the headcount changes, and the balance depends on the final contract total. Keep them in two systems and the balance you invoice can disagree with the menu the kitchen is cooking. Whether one platform or several makes sense for the wider business is a separate question, and we covered it in Business Management Software: All-in-One vs. Point Tools for Venues.

Start with the stage that loses you the most bookings. Pick the plan that covers that stage, then confirm the card fee on the payments your clients actually make.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions readers ask most about this topic.

Is banquet hall management software the same as event venue software?
Largely, yes. Both run bookings, deposits, and payment schedules. Banquet tools usually add a banquet event order and room layouts, while venue tools focus on the contract and billing cycle. Find out if you need the BEO before you pay for it.
Which banquet hall management software has the lowest price?
On published starting prices, VenueBill Pro at $39 a month is the lowest of the four. The cheapest plan is not always the cheapest tool, though, because a plan that misses the stage where your bookings stall costs you more than its monthly rate.
Does Tripleseat publish its prices?
Not per package. Its packages page says Tripleseat starts at $375 per venue a month, and it does not show a separate price for each package.
Are card fees part of banquet hall software pricing?
They are separate from the monthly plan. Perfect Venue adds a card processing fee of 0.5% on Professional, 0.3% on Premium, and 0% on Enterprise, on top of its monthly rate.
