# VenueBill > VenueBill is booking and billing software for independent wedding and event venues. It keeps each couple, event date, space, package, contract, deposit, payment schedule, and final balance in one operational record. Current as of 2026-10-13. This date records the product-facts review. Catalog titles and descriptions are copied from this build’s canonical public pages; this is not a fresh factual review of every article. ## Verified product scope Wedding venues, event venues, reception spaces, and the owners or coordinators who manage their bookings. VenueBill begins at the date hold or booking. It is not a full lead CRM, BEO, floor-plan, staffing, POS, inventory, or attendee-registration suite. ## Pricing and trial - The card-backed 14-day trial begins after secure checkout. No subscription charge is collected when the trial begins. - Pro costs $39 per month. - Premium costs $59 per month. - The selected plan starts billing automatically when the trial ends unless the venue cancels first. ## Online card processing VenueBill does not add a separate platform transaction fee. The client covers the checkout-disclosed Stripe card-processing amount, and that processing amount is not returned on a refund except where law requires otherwise. ## Current workflows - Create a booking around the couple, event date, venue space, and package. - Hold a date and space, then keep the contract and deposit with that booking. - Build deposit, installment, and final-balance milestones from the event date. - Prepare proposals, estimates, invoices, and e-sign contracts. - Give each couple a private portal for documents, payment history, and the outstanding balance. - Accept online card payments through Stripe Connect after the venue completes payment onboarding. - Record off-platform cash, check, and bank-transfer payments manually. - Send automated email reminders for upcoming and overdue payments. ## Page catalog ## Help - [AI Connections - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/ai-connections): Connect your venue account, choose permissions, ask about events and balances, and disconnect. - [Help Center - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help): Find guides and answers for VenueBill - invoices, estimates, recurring billing, payments, client portal, settings, and more. - [Getting Started - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/getting-started): A complete walkthrough of setting up your account, adding your first client, and sending your first invoice. - [Creating and Sending Invoices - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/creating-invoices): Everything you need to know about building invoices, adding line items, sending to clients, and tracking status. - [Managing Clients - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/managing-clients): How to add, edit, and organize clients in VenueBill - view billing history, manage contact details, use tags, and use the client portal. - [Estimates and Estimate-to-Invoice - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/estimates): Create quotes, get client sign-off, and convert approved estimates into invoices without retyping anything. - [Recurring Invoices and Installments - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/recurring-invoices): Set up automatic billing schedules, installment payment plans, configure payment reminders, and add late fees for overdue invoices. - [Payments: Online, Manual, and Partial - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/payments): How to accept online card payments, record manual and partial payments, and get notified when money lands. - [Settings and Profile Builder - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/profile-settings): Set up your VenueBill profile and settings - business details, invoice branding and logo, account preferences, and payment options - in one place. - [Frequently Asked Questions - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/faq): Quick answers to the most common questions about VenueBill plans, payments, features, and getting help. - [Team Members and Roles - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/team-members): Invite collaborators to your VenueBill account, set their roles, and manage who can access what. - [Calendar and Event Date Fields - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/calendar): Add event dates to invoices and view all upcoming work on the calendar - built for event-based businesses. - [Referral Program - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/referral-program): Share VenueBill with other venue teams, and earn account credits when they subscribe. - [Plan Limits and Quotas - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/plan-limits-and-quotas): A precise breakdown of the 14-day trial and the Pro and Premium plans. - [How Invoice Emails Work - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/how-invoice-emails-work): What happens when you click Send Invoice, the two ways to deliver an invoice, and what counts as a send. - [When Is a Card Required? - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/when-is-a-card-required): You can create login details first, but a card is required in secure checkout before the 14-day trial starts. - [Password Requirements - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/password-requirements): VenueBill password requirements: at least 8 characters, at least one number, and a password not found on any known public data-breach list. - [Sending Your First Invoice - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/sending-your-first-invoice): A walkthrough of the first-send experience during your card-backed trial or on a paid plan. - [Organizing Clients with Tags - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/client-tags): Create colored tags to categorize your clients, filter your client list, and manage tags from Settings. - [Status Board for Estimates and Invoices - VenueBill](https://www.venuebill.com/help/status-board): A kanban view of all your estimates and invoices grouped by status.
